This walking/driving tour highlights some of the architecture and history of the Coleman Highlands neighborhood. It does so by combining local history with architectural information at eleven designated stops throughout the neighborhood. It should be noted that this tour is not all-encompassing and provides just a sample of the rich information found in Kansas City’s historic neighborhoods.
Factual information at most stops is followed by sections entitled “Things to Notice” and “Q & A.” These sections are well suited for anyone leading a group on a walking tour or for anyone wishing to take a closer look at the architecture of the Coleman Highlands houses.
